The moment you've all been eagerly anticipating has finally arrived! We're absolutely thrilled to roll out the carpet and showcase our meticulously crafted roadmap for the remainder of 2023 and beyond, carving our journey into the dawn of 2024.
Our team has been relentlessly planning our strategy for the growth of the Creditcoin network to make it more valuable for our community and users.
The Creditcoin roadmap includes an array of new features and enhancements that will allow us to continue growing as an industry leader in the RWA landscape while evolving our network into a new benchmark for interoperability across Web3.

Q2 2023 - The Road to Proof-of-Stake
Get ready for a flurry of activity in the final few weeks of Q2. Starting with the most exciting news first, we'll be launching our Creditcoin 2.0+ Testnet, which includes a bug bounty program and various community participation incentives, in a matter of weeks!
The switch over to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) has been long anticipated, and so we're excited to be moving into the final stages of development. You can also expect to see the whitepaper dropping around the same, detailing all of the noteworthy technical changes, such as consensus design.
But that's not all. If you really strain your ears, you can hear the sound of waddling feet in the distance. That's right, the Credit Penguin Colony is coming, with a mint date sometime in June.
Q3 2023 - Creditcoin 2.0+ Launch
Q3 is a big one. Once the testnet period is done and we've ironed out any bugs, we'll be dropping the major 2.0+ update, completing Creditcoin's transition into a fully Proof-of-Stake network optimized for real-world asset investing!
The 2.0+ upgrade is set to deliver several major improvements to the Creditcoin Network. Firstly, the switch to PoS is set to radically increase security and decentralisation, whilst also reducing the energy consumption of the Network by more than 99%, putting Creditcoin onto a more sustainable ecological footing.
In addition, faster block times are set to deliver improved real-world business performance for our global network of fintech partners, helping the network record more credit than ever before! To top it all off, we're also changing the block reward structure to help curb CTC's long-term supply inflation. You can read more about what the 2.0+ upgrade means for Creditcoin here.
Another much-requested feature coming after the 2.0+ update is the addition of a G-CRE → CTC swap function. This new swap interface will give you the ability to swap your ERC20 tokens for mainnet CTC tokens and get involved with Creditcoin staking!
Finally, Q3 also marks the end of the Creditcoin 3.0 research phase and the shift to full-on development mode as we lay the groundwork for Creditcoin's next-generation multichain update.
Q4 2023 - 3.0 BUIDL Mode
Q4 is full-on heads down development mode. We'll also be releasing the Creditcoin 3.0 technical paper, showcasing the fruits of our research and outlining Creditcoin 3.0's technical design.
Naturally, that also means we'll be working our butts off spreading the word about all the myriad exciting multichain dApps that Creditcoin 3.0 will be enabling, including multichain DEXs, RWA investments and more!
Q1 2024 - Hello Creditcoin 3.0!
