Important: This upgrade affects TESTNET ONLY. Creditcoin Mainnet operations are completely unaffected.

What's Happening

We're performing a comprehensive upgrade to Creditcoin Testnet to improve performance and add new features. This is a testnet-only upgrade with no impact on mainnet operations.

Action Required for Testnet Users

Wallet Users

Credit Wallet users: Update to version 2.0.2 or later to continue using native transfer features on testnet. Versions 2.0.1 and below will no longer work with testnet transfers

CLI Users

Testnet CLI users: Update to the latest CLI version (available in the new Docker Testnet Image to continue using the send command. Older CLI versions will no longer be compatible.

Node Operators

New node operators: Consult the updated documentation for new required arguments when setting up fresh nodes.

Existing nodes: No additional arguments needed for upgrades

Key Improvements

•Lower fees: Testnet transaction fees will be reduced
•Hardware wallet support: Ledger wallet is now enabled on testnet
•Enhanced staking: Improved payout processes for large validator pools
•System upgrades: Multiple dependency updates and performance improvements

Timeline

The upgrade will take place during the scheduled maintenance window. Testnet services may be temporarily unavailable during this period.

Remember: This is a testnet-only upgrade. Your mainnet operations and assets remain completely unaffected.
