Creditcoin and Credit Labs are thrilled to open up pre-registrations for BUIDL CTC, the inaugural event that will kick off a new hackathon series seeking innovators looking to utilize blockchain technology to build purpose-driven dApps and protocols for the real world!
This is your chance to build products on the Creditcoin blockchain, compete for a highly rewarding prize pool, and gain access to a growing ecosystem of support and community.

Prize Pool
We're putting up a $15,000 prize pool to reward the most innovative and impactful projects that can help grow the CTC ecosystem. The distribution will be as follows:
- First place: $10,000
- Second place: $3,000
- Third place: $2,000
Tracks
We're looking for projects across four key tracks that will expand the Creditcoin ecosystem:
- DeFi (Decentralized Finance): Build the next generation of decentralized finance applications on Creditcoin. We're looking for projects in lending, trading, liquidity, yield, perpetuals, derivatives, bridges, and more.
- RWA (Real-World Assets): Bridge the gap between off-chain value and on-chain trust. We're looking for projects that tokenize, manage, or finance real-world assets on Creditcoin, including real estate, commodities, and treasuries.
- DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure): Build the future of physical infrastructure with decentralized solutions. We're looking for projects in IoT, Space, Telecom, Storage, and Sensor networks that use Creditcoin for incentives, settlement, or data integrity.
- Gaming: Create immersive gaming experiences and player-driven economies on Creditcoin. We're looking for projects that leverage Creditcoin for in-game economies, asset ownership, and marketplaces.
Important Dates
Dates are currently estimates. An official schedule will be shared shortly:
- Final Submission: mid-February 2026
- Finalist Announcement: late-February 2026
- Demo Day: mid-March 2026
The Demo Day will be an IRL event, and the selected teams will be flown out to Seoul, South Korea.
Fast-Track to Investment with CEIP
The top three projects from the hackathon will be fast-tracked into the Creditcoin Ecosystem Investment Program (CEIP). CEIP is a $10 million investment initiative led by Credit Labs that supports companies and individuals building innovative products that strengthen, expand, and drive long-term growth within the Creditcoin ecosystem. Investment sizes range from $25,000 to $250,000, depending on the maturity and size of the project.
By taking the CEIP Fast Track, teams go directly to the due diligence stage and can potentially access funding more quickly, while tapping into Creditcoin’s resources to help prepare for an official public launch. Additional benefits include:
- Potential follow-on funding or grants
- Engineering and product advisory from the Creditcoin team
- Access to Creditcoin’s partner network, including ecosystem partners and VCs
